About The Position

This is a full-time position consisting of being a member of a travelling two-man crew performing on-site kiosk repair and refurbishment at Dippin’ Dots National accounts throughout the U.S. The scope of work also includes performing routine preventive maintenance on Dippin’ Dots freezers located at National accounts.

Requirements

Ability to travel extensively, primarily driving but occasional air travel is required.
Technical aptitude.
Experience in the use of basic hand power tools: drill, buffer, circular saw, trim router, jig saw.
Ability to work well with others.
Remove and reapply vinyl to DD equipment.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic Carpentry, Basic Plumbing, Basic Electrical preferred
Ability to travel extensively, primarily driving but occasional air travel is required.
Overtime required as needed
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Operating machinery and/or power tools.
Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

Cleaning
Painting
Removal and application of vinyl graphics
Minor plumbing and electrical repair

Minor laminate repair/replacement
Minor repairs requiring basic carpentry
Cleaning of compressor compartment – condenser fan and coils
Replacement of basic components as needed: Lids and/or lid parts (handle, hinge, lock), Electrical components: Condenser fan, power cord, controller, Other: casters, compressor grill
