Field Quality & Supplier Quality Engineer W2 Hiring
About The Position
The Field Quality & Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for performing field failure analysis on customer-identified parts, verifying the correctness of reported quality issues, and conducting root cause analysis (RCA) on defective or related parts. This role involves implementing immediate countermeasures to support production lines, segregating and measuring on-hold parts for quality validation, and identifying and driving permanent resolution measures. The engineer will also collaborate with manufacturing teams to investigate and correct documentation/component issues.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of GD&T, metrology, and measurement techniques.
- Knowledge of RCA methods and 7QC tools.
- Hands‑on experience in metrology and part manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal).
- Familiarity with electronic parts qualification and incoming part approval processes.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
