About The Position

Part of the manufacturing team, you are the driving force behind the creation of our kitchen and bath products. You will work hands-on with the products themselves, from the handling of raw materials to the shipping of a completed piece. You are responsible for ensuring that all products are properly assembled and manufactured to bring customers a consistently strong experience. Knowledge and attention to all safety protocols is an essential part of keeping our manufacturing operations safe and efficient. Assist in evaluating and maintaining data code requirements in ETQ for reporting purposes Direct contact with manufacturing and design personnel regarding product problems. Provide technical training for Sales and Contractors Investigate product problems on jobs of significant volume or complexity and recommend corrective measures Perform special investigations, audits and provide reporting for quality issues at our plants Participate in conducting field tests, surveys, call backs, and inspections of products involved in insurance and legal claims Lead and execute Root Cause Corrective Action (RCA) process for quality escalations, ensuring the use of structured methodologies like 5-Why Analysis to uncover systemic issues and prevent recurrence. Assist Consumer Connections technical personnel in evaluating product problems. Drive corrective actions and root cause analysis within the plant.

Requirements

  • 3+ years Customer/Field Service experience, college or technical school preferred.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing.
  • Must be able to lift 50 – 60 lbs.
  • Must be flexible and be able to work independently.
  • Onsite in Pisctaway, NJ with a remote day flexibility.
  • Must be able to travel for job site visits within the US about 50 percent of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Engineering Degree or related field experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our trade and retail accounts to provide quality audits, conduct product training, troubleshoot problem accounts and investigate job site installation/quality issues and recommend solutions.
  • Implement data into the Central Quality ETQ system and drive root cause/corrective actions with plant quality.
