Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of tower top installation, current and active tower climbing experience in the wireless industry.
  • 5+ years of documented successful quality audits within the Telecommunications Construction Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA Federal Regulations, state and local safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience providing safety training.
  • Demonstrate strong safety audit skills coupled with experience dealing with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate experience in conducting field audits and accident investigations.
  • Experience in managing individual or multiple wireless communication projects.
  • Able to effectively work independently.
  • Proficient computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Projects), Adobe PDF’s, and database systems.
  • Ability to complete closeouts with detailed and highlighted photos.
  • Travel as needed and willing to work nights and weekends.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Current certifications: ComTrain or equivalent, CPR, first aid, OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all closeouts have zero failures or defects and are completed in a timely manner, correcting any issues on-site prior to submission.
  • Controlling quality audits by using a managed process to minimize or eliminate OSHA citations.
  • Conducting OSHA Job Safety Audits (JSAs) as needed.
  • Writing, socializing, and measuring individual tailored OSHA compliant safety regulations for respective markets, tailored to the JSAs.
  • Communicating requirements, receiving and consolidating data, and publishing and editing routine and exceptional safety audit reports/graphics to leadership and staff.
  • Visiting job sites and evaluating General Contractors on their ability to maintain compliance with Client Quality and Safety Standards.
  • Reviewing potential subcontractors' safety policies, procedures, and safety performance during the pre-qualification/bidding phase.
  • Conducting field-monitoring activities associated with hot work permitting, excavation permits, crane operation, equipment loading/unloading, etc.
  • Conducting Quality Audits as required.
  • Reviewing/Auditing daily safety activity conducted by subcontractor safety personnel.
  • Taking immediate corrective action for any unsafe acts observed, involving company and subcontractor management for immediate review.
  • Other duties as assigned.
