About The Position

This role is responsible for investigating and managing complex homeowner claims from initial inspection through resolution. You will evaluate coverage, assess damages, and prepare detailed estimates to support fair and accurate claim outcomes.

You will work directly with customers, contractors, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and confirming the facts of loss for Homeowners Claims.
• Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority.
• Works independently, prioritizing own responsibilities.
• Investigating and managing complex homeowner claims from initial inspection through resolution.
• Evaluate coverage, assess damages, and prepare detailed estimates to support fair and accurate claim outcomes.
• Work directly with customers, contractors, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on the most complex first party homeowner losses of all severities
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Recommends process improvements
