In this role you will get to manage all site-specific activities for a small project, or a subtask of a larger project, in accordance with the project requirements at McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) in Knoxville, TN. This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements

  • Strong airport operations and infrastructure knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills with a focus on resolving stakeholder and contractor issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and timelines without delay
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • The skill to manage people

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with Procore or similar project management software
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or construction-related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 10+ years related work experience/3+ years in a leadership role at a field site
  • Be team-oriented
  • Background in airport operations and infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper procedures are followed with respect to work impacting the Airport
  • Plans and executes all aspects of assigned projects including the development of scope of work (SOW) documents, budgets, schedules, and project implementation plans
  • Monitor contractor schedules and cost impacts; assist in evaluating claims and change requests and negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and CMAR
  • Develops project documents, processes, and procedures required to support the Program
  • Assisting contractor with development of utility outage notices and operational impact notices
  • Provides project/program reporting to client; responds to issues and/or expectation concerns
  • Ensure all contractor deliverables are complete, correct, and submitted on schedule
  • Collaborates with team leadership to establish and maintain program/project schedule and budget
