About The Position

ODRA is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Field Product Demonstration Specialist to support our growing presence in the Dallas, TX region and broader Southern U.S. territory. This is a highly visible, field-based role combining equipment operation, product demonstrations, and technical sales support role ideal for someone who enjoys travel, operating equipment, and engaging directly with customers. You'll be responsible for delivering live demonstrations, showcasing product capabilities, and helping customers see firsthand the value ODRA equipment brings to their operations. You are the bridge between product and customer-turning features into real-world results.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation, product demonstrations, or field-based technical roles
  • Confidence operating heavy equipment (sweepers, loaders, tractors, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences
  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a travel-heavy role
  • Based in or near the Atlanta area, with flexibility for regional travel
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in municipal, construction, or industrial equipment industries preferred
  • Previous trade show or live demo experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate ODRA sweepers at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events across the Atlanta region and Southeast
  • Plan, set up, and execute on-site live equipment demonstrations and walkarounds
  • Showcase product features, performance, and key differentiators in real working environments
  • Partner closely with Sales Representatives to support the pre-sales process and customer engagement
  • Deliver hands-on customer training and product demonstrations during deliveries and onboarding sessions
  • Collect and share customer feedback to improve product performance and sales strategy
  • Maintain demo equipment, trailers, and tools, including basic preventative maintenance and inspections
  • Travel extensively across the Southeast and occasionally North America (up to 70%)
