About The Position

AirGarage is a company focused on bringing real estate online, starting with parking. They replace outdated parking systems with a modern operating system that handles payments, dynamic pricing, enforcement, and analytics. AirGarage utilizes data such as real-time occupancy, local events, weather, driver behavior, and competitor pricing to optimize parking assets. They are investing in technology like cameras and sensors to gather real-time data that fuels their optimization models. The company is targeting the large and often mismanaged US parking real estate market, with backing from prominent investors. The Field Operations Specialist role is a full-time, hourly position working Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm PT, on-site in the Seattle and Bellevue markets. The specialist will be employed by TalentBurst, AirGarage's Employer of Record partner, and will act as the on-the-ground presence at parking lots or garages, responsible for patrolling, verifying payments, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Some tasks may vary depending on the specific property assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, security, or parking operations is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time, outdoors, in a working parking lot or garage environment.
  • Must own a modern smartphone with a reliable data plan to operate enforcement software (Space Force).
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned location(s) is required.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently, without direct on-site supervision.
  • A positive, professional attitude when engaging with customers and property stakeholders.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Authorized to work in the USA.
  • Successful completion of a standard background check.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly walk assigned lot(s) or garage(s) on foot to check on parked vehicles.
  • Provide coverage across multiple locations within the assigned area.
  • Use AirGarage's Space Force app on a smartphone to scan license plates and verify active payment.
  • Issue citations to vehicles that haven't paid through the app and leave a physical notice on the vehicle when needed.
  • Immobilize (boot) repeat violators in some markets.
  • Assist customers in understanding how to pay and guide them through the app.
  • Perform occasional light cleanup of trash and litter around the lot.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on maintenance needs.
  • Assist with hanging or moving signage at ground level.
  • Help direct traffic into the lot and assist customers with questions or pricing at a small number of locations.
