About The Position

AirGarage is looking for a Field Operations Specialist to be the on-the-ground presence at parking lots or garages. This role involves patrolling the property, verifying payment, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The specialist will use a smartphone app to scan license plates, verify payments, and issue citations to non-compliant vehicles. Depending on the assigned location, tasks may also include light cleanup, coordinating with vendors, assisting with signage, and directing traffic during events. This is a part-time, weekend, hourly position.

Requirements

• Must own a modern smartphone with a reliable data plan.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned location(s).
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• A positive, professional attitude when engaging with customers and property stakeholders.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Successful completion of a standard background check.
• A valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service, security, or parking operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walk assigned lot(s) or garage(s) on foot to check on parked vehicles.
• Provide coverage across multiple locations within the assigned area.
• Use AirGarage's Space Force app on a smartphone to scan license plates and verify active payment.
• Issue citations to vehicles that haven't paid through the app and leave a physical notice.
• In some markets, immobilize (boot) repeat violators.
• Help customers understand how to pay and guide them through the app.
• Perform occasional light trash and litter pickup around the lot (depending on location).
• Coordinate with outside vendors on maintenance needs (depending on location).
• Assist with hanging or moving signage (depending on location).
• Help direct traffic into the lot and assist customers with questions or pricing (at a small number of locations).
