The Field Operations Manager will work in a consultative fashion with the VP of Field and Distributor Operations and other management team members to develop plans to ensure Subaru of America (SOA) meets its annual vehicle sales target. This role is responsible for communicating clearly and effectively with stakeholders in Regional, Zone, Distributor, District, and retailer sales. The manager will plan and implement the National Training Conference (NTC) each January, which is a multi-day event for hundreds of Subaru employees. This role also serves as the primary liaison between Field and Corporate staff, acting as a trusted point of contact for sales-related questions and information, requiring responsiveness, effective communication skills, and substantial knowledge of Subaru sales. Additionally, the manager will oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of sales and business review meetings, including monthly Executive Management reviews, Executive Management Committee (EMC) presentations, and National Retailer Advisory Board (NRAB) meetings. This includes coordinating cross-functional inputs, developing executive presentations and reporting, and ensuring leadership alignment on business performance, forecasts, priorities, and action plans. The role also manages the District Sales Manager (DSM) Bonus Program, adjusting it as needed to maximize DSM performance within budget. The Field Operations Manager will lead and manage various projects for the Sales Department, such as the Subaru Service Loaner Program (SSLP), contact report system, target system, and other Information Technology (IT) projects. Finally, this position directs, develops, and evaluates Management Associates during their rotations through the Sales Department and hires and manages two interns annually.
