About The Position

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating Warrior Precast & Confidence Builder’s field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards and customer expectations. This position provides leadership to field crews, coordinates resources and site activities, and serves as a key connection between the plant, field operations, customers, contractors, and company leadership. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who understands construction or precast field work, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving field environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction, precast concrete, field operations, installation, logistics, or related industry; supervisory experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field employees and coordinate multiple operational priorities.
  • Strong understanding of job-site operations, construction sequencing, equipment, materials, and field safety.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, measurements, specifications, work orders, and project documentation.
  • Strong communication, organization, scheduling, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and respond effectively to field issues.
  • Ability to travel between plant, customer, and job-site locations as required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily field operations, including installation, delivery coordination, site preparation activities, and related field work.
  • Coordinate field crews, equipment, materials, vehicles, and resources to ensure work is properly staffed and ready for scheduled projects.
  • Review upcoming projects and confirm field requirements, site conditions, manpower, equipment, materials, and timing before work begins.
  • Communicate with customers, contractors, project managers, plant personnel, drivers, crane operators, and other stakeholders to coordinate field activities.
  • Ensure field crews understand the scope of work, daily priorities, job-site expectations, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Monitor field work for progress, workmanship, productivity, and compliance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Address job-site issues, delays, scheduling conflicts, material concerns, site conditions, and other operational problems promptly.
  • Conduct or coordinate site visits and assist with resolving field issues that require management attention.
  • Ensure appropriate equipment, tools, materials, and documentation are available for field crews before deployment.
  • Monitor field employee attendance, productivity, conduct, and performance; provide coaching and communicate significant employee issues to management and Human Resources.
  • Coordinate with the Plant Production Manager and other operational leaders to align production and field schedules.
  • Ensure completed work is properly documented and communicate project status, issues, delays, and completion information to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining field procedures, checklists, work standards, and operational best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
