About The Position

Oversees and coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and actions under the Warfighter – Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) program and serves as liaison between project management and Field Ops personnel. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Requirements

  • AA degree with minimum 16 years prior relevant experience in US Government defense contracting
  • Practical experience and knowledge of W-TRS program and related TADSS
  • Work requires a high degree of responsibility for resources and frequently influences business decisions made by functional leadership.
  • Communication with parties within and outside of own job function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, which may include customers or vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation of TES/MILES Central Repair Activity at the Warrior Support Center in Fairdale KY
  • Coordinates the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and the Warrior Support Center TES/MILES Repair Depot
  • Coordinates TES/MILES repair activity with installation Training Support Centers
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
  • Serve as primary WSC Central Depot POC to Information System Tool Suite (ISTS) team.
  • Supports PMO with TDP development
  • May oversees TDP performance areas
  • Responsible for meeting program commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s), company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools
  • Participates in reoccurring program and customer meetings, to include but not limited to risk and opportunity assessment and update, EACs, and program status reviews, etc. in accordance with specific business and program goals and obligations
  • Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of company’s contract commitments
  • Advises Field Ops team of program and/or contractual responsibilities and obligations, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures addressing programmatic matters.
  • Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as Contracts, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Logistics, and administrative function
