About The Position

Nexus Integrity Management is seeking a motivated and hands-on Field Operations Intern to support both sides of our field operations. This internship is designed to provide real-world experience in integrity and inspection services while developing the technical, safety, and operational skills required for a long-term career in the industry. The Field Operations Intern will work alongside experienced technicians and supervisors, gaining exposure to daily field activities, equipment operation, safety protocols, and customer interaction. This role requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Interest in field operations, construction, industrial services, or related industries
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed

Nice To Haves

• technical training or coursework preferred
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist field technicians with daily operational tasks across multiple service lines
• Support inspection, maintenance, and integrity-related activities in the field
• Participate in equipment setup, operation, and breakdown
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and job site requirements
• Observe and learn proper use of tools, equipment, and testing methods
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and data collection as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers
• Travel to job sites as required, including out-of-town assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Demonstrate professionalism and a willingness to take on new challenges
