Requirements

Valid driver's license required.
Ability to safely operate hand tools and power equipment related to landscaping and grounds maintenance.
Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in landscape maintenance work.
Knowledge of the safe and efficient operation of small snow removal equipment.
Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and other safety instructions.
Ability to perform daily responsibilities in all weather conditions, in both summer and winter.
Must be dependable and available to work on property on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands, including on-call availability for winter snow removal shifts.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in the landscaping and/or turf industry preferred.
Prior experience operating outdoor power equipment, including walk-behind mowers, chainsaws, and trimmers, preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist crew members with the application of fertilizers and chemical applications under the supervision of a licensed applicator.
Assist with a variety of projects related to maintenance, erosion matting, hydro-seeding, laying or hand-watering new sod, seeding greens or tees, leveling irrigation heads, and planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
Perform mowing, tree and shrub trimming, and mulch and flower bed maintenance.
Assist the golf maintenance team with other responsibilities on and off the golf course, including seasonal maintenance practices.
Shovel snow from walkways, entries, and other designated areas.
Safely operate small equipment as needed to complete snow removal tasks.
Perform daily snow removal responsibilities in all weather conditions.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while working around members and guests.
Ensure all tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies are properly used, maintained, and stored.
Maintain positive interactions with club members and guests, providing a high level of customer service.
Perform any and all duties as assigned by the Golf Course Superintendent, Grounds Foreman, or other members of the senior management team, as deemed appropriate.
