About The Position

This position involves general farm duties at the Macdonald Campus Farm/Horticulture Centre. Responsibilities include land preparation, rock picking, seeding, transplanting, pruning, hoeing, some tractor work, and harvesting fruits and vegetables. The role also includes sales at the Mac Market counter and data collection from research plots. All other duties assigned by the Chief Horticulture Technician are also part of the role.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Willing to work in the province of Quebec
• English communication skills (verbal and written) at level #2 on a scale of 0-4
• High School Diploma
• Minimal or No Related Experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous work in horticulture
• Driver’s license
