About The Position
As a Field Merchandising Technician for MTI, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, merchandising, and maintaining interactive consumer electronic displays and devices within retail locations. MTI also manufactures its own fleet of security components for consumer electronics, which Field Merchandising Technicians across the country install and maintain in various retail establishments such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and others.
Requirements
- Over the age of 18
- Current Driver’s License, insurance, and a vehicle
- Technically inclined – experience with consumer electronics such as phones, tablets, and other peripherals
- Adaptable to a variety of work
- Excellent communication skills via phone, text, and email
- An Android or Apple mobile device for uploading photos and data upon completion of assignments
- Flexible availability Monday-Friday between the hours of 7am-4pm
- Availability to travel within a designated market
- Frequent use of hand tools
Nice To Haves
- Previous Merchandising or retail experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, merchandise, and maintain interactive consumer electronic displays and devices.
- Install and maintain MTI-manufactured security components for consumer electronics.
- Conduct break-fix repairs on displays.
- Install/build displays, end caps, and fixturing.
- Perform maintenance on displays.
- Conduct planogram resets.
