About The Position
Jacent is hiring a Field Merchandiser to work in local retail stores, placing products, building displays, and working with store personnel. Merchandisers execute merchandising programs in stores and help create inspired shopping experiences that support sales. The position offers daytime hours and a predictable schedule of 12–15 hours per week, with paid training, mileage and travel time paid between stores, cell phone reimbursement, and advancement opportunities. Applicants should reside within 20 miles of the assigned locations.
Requirements
- Be a self-starter and quick learner who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Be comfortable working in changing environments.
- Meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation: standing and walking for 3–8 hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; and crouching, bending, twisting, and performing repetitive hand movements.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with business partners.
- Reside within 20 miles of the assigned locations.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with in-store management.
- Execute merchandising resets.
- Build retail displays.
- Merchandise impulse items on clip strips and J-hooks.
- Implement plan-o-grams.
