About The Position

The Field Merchandiser services existing customers by maintaining shelf space, sales aids, and displays. The role provides sales service related to Masco Coatings products and do-it-yourself paint projects. Working safely is part of the company’s culture and a condition of employment. The position supports various retail locations and may require travel to multiple stores each day and some overnight stays.

Requirements

• Educational attainment equivalent to high school graduation.
• Some sales, retail, or customer service experience.
• Communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in a day.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Knowledge of MS Office suites and/or software applications related to job functions.
• Valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance, and verification of an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Keep product displays full, clean, and orderly, including color center cards and point-of-purchase materials.
• Provide mixing assistance with paints, primers, and specialty items.
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote overall consumer satisfaction.
• Work with the assigned Team Lead to expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints.
• Communicate product features and benefits and new product introductions to store personnel and customers.
• Coordinate and support sales events and promotions for Masco Coatings products and services.
• Continuously report account information to the assigned Team Lead to support departmental needs.
• Provide information as requested to the Regional Operations Manager.
• Provide store support at various retail locations.
