About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser for Hallmark, you will work independently to manage product displays and inventory in various retail stores. This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with retailers. You will be the face of Hallmark, collaborating with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels. Additionally, you will support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed, and on occasion, you may work with products from other companies within the stores you service.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers.
  • Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Use technology for day-to-day work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Maintain professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Provide holiday support, which includes additional days and extended hours during the work week leading up to and following major holidays (e.g., Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
  • Be available to work on actual holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, which may include weekends.
  • Participate in Department Resets, which may involve building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
  • Support other team members as needed in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization.
