About The Position

As a Field Merchandiser Floater, you will have the opportunity to work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, your ability to establish retailer relationships, while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels as well as support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations, when needed. On occasion, you may have the opportunity to work with other products from other companies in the stores that you service.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Access to consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service work in Hallmark departments of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, mass retailers).
  • Restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products using a mobile device.
  • Communicate with supervisor via mobile device for reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
  • Be responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Provide additional support and extended hours leading up to and following major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
  • Potentially work on actual holidays and weekends during peak seasons.
  • Participate in team efforts for installations and tasks such as building/installing fixtures, relocating departments/products, and resetting card sections, with two weeks' advance notice for remodel assignments.
  • Support other team members in their territories as needed.
