About The Position

Suncore is looking for an experienced Diesel Field Mechanic to join their team full-time in the Las Vegas area. This role involves working on a diverse range of vehicles, equipment, and systems, from routine preventive maintenance to major engine and transmission repairs. Requirements

• 2–4 years of diesel mechanic experience, including at least 1 year of field mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• A dependable, safety-minded approach and pride in doing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair diesel vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including electronic controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to keep the fleet safe and reliable.
• Complete road calls and perform field repairs when equipment needs you most.
• Perform minor welding repairs and equipment and plant maintenance.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
