About The Position
MasterTech is on the search for Field Mechanics in Phoenix, AZ. The successful Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized heavy-duty equipment both in the shop and at large and exhilarating job sites. We are looking for a range of experience working on mining, earth moving, and drilling equipment.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earth moving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
- Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- CDL, or able to obtain one.
- Full set of tools.
