About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist at Alfred University in Alfred, NY. This role will support all Marketing and Sodexo brand management needs for the dining program, which includes resident dining, retail operations, and catering. The specialist will help enhance the student experience, promote wellness, and build a strong sense of community through engaging campaigns and events.

Requirements

Passion for sustainability, plant-based dining, and student-centered experiences.
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creativity and comfort with social media platforms, digital tools, and content creation.
Ability to collaborate across teams and work effectively with managers, staff, interns, and client partners.
A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to engage students and customers directly.
Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

Previous marketing experience (internship, campus involvement, or entry-level role) preferred.

Responsibilities

Support the execution of marketing strategies and promotions across dining halls, retail locations, catering, and meal plans.
Manage day-to-day marketing activities, including social media, website updates, digital signage, advertising, and student surveys.
Partner with the client and Sodexo leadership to drive customer engagement, retention, and sales growth.
Lead and mentor a small team of marketing interns, ensuring initiatives are creative, timely, and effective.
Execute Sodexo national campus dining initiatives each semester, while tailoring campaigns to meet RPI’s unique campus culture.
Support growth initiatives across meal plans, retail, catering, and special events.
Build customer insight through surveys, focus groups, and engagement events.
Promote Sodexo’s brand through strong on-site presence and innovative communication campaigns.
