About The Position

As an Events Marketing Specialist on the North America field marketing team, you will report directly to the Senior Event Manager to support our regional event strategy. Your primary focus will be driving pipeline generation and acceleration within target accounts for the North America Health and Life line of business, while also providing critical operational support for major Property and Casualty events. In this role, you will collaborate deeply across cross-functional marketing teams and maintain strong relationships with vendors, external partners, and regional sales teams. This role is expected to be in the office 1 day per week, and can expect travel to 4-6 events per year.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–3 years of proven success independently executing B2B conferences, tradeshows, and webinars.
  • Strong operational experience utilizing CRM and Marketing Automation systems (ideally Salesforce.com and HubSpot) to source emails, manage campaign lists, and track deliverables.
  • Excellent project management skills and can coordinate multiple fast-paced marketing initiatives simultaneously without letting quality or deadlines slip.
  • Excel at cross-functional alignment, gracefully managing internal sales expectations and vendor partnerships with high emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Remain calm, focus objectively on the solution, and maintain absolute professionalism when handling last-minute contract negotiations, shipping delays, or high-pressure logistics.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Event Strategy & Execution: Research industry and regional events, maintain the master calendar, and independently manage comprehensive project plans, logistics, promotional items, and shipping.
  • Sponsorships & Stakeholder Management: Pitch and secure speaking or sponsorship opportunities while partnering with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and maintaining the primary relationship with the regional sales team.
  • Campaign Promotion & Digital Execution: Drive in-person and virtual event attendance by building target lists, emails, and landing pages in HubSpot, and overseeing the creative production of promotional materials.
  • Vendor Procurement & On-Site Management: Serve as the main point of contact for external vendors, directly managing procurement, contract negotiations, deliverables, and flawless on-site execution.
  • Lead Processing, Analytics & Reporting: Track, qualify, and upload event and webinar leads in Salesforce.com, and communicate impact through event launch announcements, post-activity recaps, and data-driven result reports.
