About The Position

The Field Marketing Manager will work in partnership with field sales, local distributors, brand and retail marketing teams to create scalable, repeatable, and profitable brand programming that brings our brands to life at the local level. The role involves executing local activation and amplification plans for national programs, engaging local communities, supporting sales growth and overseeing local events and partnerships. The ideal candidate for this role will reside in Colorado between Fort Collins and Boulder.

Requirements

  • Requires 3+ years of experience in field marketing, retail/channel marketing or related field.
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within New Belgium and among our key distributor and local marketing partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets.
  • Experience in networking, collaboration, and effective communication to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Solid knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Squeaky Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to drive an automobile required.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements scalable, repeatable, and profitable brand programming in partnership with field sales, local distributors, and brand and retail marketing teams.
  • Oversees a team of 3-4 brand ambassadors and is responsible for their hours.
  • Executes local activation and amplification plans for national programs with a focus on engaging local communities and driving sales growth.
  • Identifies and nurtures relationships with 10-20 key on-premise retailers, securing significant support and influence within the market.
  • Plans, executes, and oversees local events that align with brand objectives and marketing strategies.
  • Conducts market research and analysis to identify opportunities for brand activation and sales growth.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including sales, distribution, and marketing to ensure alignment and execution of brand strategies.
  • Monitors and reports on the effectiveness of local marketing initiatives and events, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in marketing materials and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
