About The Position

A Field Marketing Lead for Connected International is responsible for the demos and field activities for the brand while executing marketing strategies and managing some logistical pieces for the Northern California brand ambassadors. The Field Marketing Lead is required to maintain their own performance levels, ensuring that they meet their individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This ensures that their addition of these duties does not detrimentally affect their own contributions to the company's goals.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in Trade/Field Marketing, preferably in the Cannabis industry.
  • Deep understanding of and passion for cannabis
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape across the state.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with trade partners.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and consumer behavior and recommend new and effective trade marketing tactics.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work non-traditional schedule, including mandatory evening and weekend work, with days off occurring mid-week.
  • Availability to be in the field and travel regularly.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience, including scheduling and time management.
  • 21 years & older

Responsibilities

  • Attend and support Events, Takeovers, Trade Shows, Festivals, and Pop-Ups, contributing to event preparation, on-site execution, and breakdown as needed.
  • Serve as lead field marketing support for Connected and Alien Labs.
  • Coordinate event equipment logistics across all brands, including planning, staging, transport coordination, and ensuring assets arrive on-site complete and on time.
  • Manage team equipment pick-up and returns, ensuring proper handling, tracking, and condition of all event materials.
  • Oversee storage organization and inventory management systems for event assets, maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring equipment is event-ready.
  • Develop and maintain standardized processes for event asset tracking, storage organization, and replenishment needs.
  • Conduct spot checks to ensure team members are present at designated locations and executing activations to brand standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for account-related issues and training questions during field activations.
  • Provide weekly activity recaps including event performance, field insights, inventory needs, and operational improvements.
  • Monitor team check-ins and check-outs; on off days, leadership is to be informed by Brand Ambassadors via text upon arrival and exit.
  • Support field team training and ensure event execution aligns with brand presentation standards and company expectations.
