About The Position

Goody is seeking a contract Field Marketing & Events Coordinator for its first physical space in downtown San Francisco. This showroom and community space will serve as an ongoing gifting suite for prospects and customers, a venue for bi-weekly events, and a home base for the sales team. The role is designed to provide logistical support for executing events and ensuring the showroom runs smoothly. The coordinator will act as the right hand to the Field Marketing Manager, handling event logistics, setup, coordination, and general showroom operations. Collaboration with sales, brand, and partnerships teams is expected. This is a four-month, 30-40 hour per week contract role based on-site in San Francisco, with potential for extension. Some evening availability is required for events.

Requirements

  • 2+ years supporting events, field marketing, account-based marketing or experiential marketing, ideally at a B2B company.
  • Based in San Francisco and able to be on-site in the downtown space for the duration of the contract.
  • Hands-on event execution experience, including wrangling vendors, running setup and teardown, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable greeting strangers, explaining a product, and turning interest into a booked meeting.
  • Ability to take direction and execute independently; reliable and proactive in flagging decisions needed.
  • Organized enough to support a bi-weekly event cadence, a daily showroom, and a steady stream of sales meetings.
  • Power user of AI tools for leverage, research, and productivity.
  • Available approximately 30-40 hours per week, including some evenings, starting early September.

Nice To Haves

  • Field marketing experience and familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
  • Experience supporting a pop-up, showroom, or experiential retail space.
  • An existing network in the SF tech and startup community.
  • Experience in a related industry (gifting, e-commerce, GTM tech, or HR SaaS).
  • Comfort with sales tooling and scheduling platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Field Marketing Manager in executing a roughly bi-weekly event cadence from September through December, including launch parties, happy hours, panels, fireside chats, webinars, partner takeovers, and holiday activations.
  • Handle event logistics such as vendor and catering coordination, AV, supply ordering, signage, setup and teardown, and day-of support.
  • Build and maintain the run of show for each event, and keep the shared events calendar and task list current.
  • Serve as a second set of hands on-site during events for check-in, guest flow, and troubleshooting.
  • Support co-hosted and co-sponsored events with brand partners and community organizations.
  • Help capture attendance and post-event notes.
  • Act as a face of the showroom during open hours, welcoming visitors, explaining Goody, and demonstrating products.
  • Maintain the showroom's appearance, including refreshing displays, stocking collateral, replenishing the beverage and snack bar, and rotating partner features.
  • Book sales meetings and event sign-ups, and keep the events schedule and QR-code sign-ups current.
  • Run the swag customization and demo room for visitors and appointments.
  • Set up the space for sales meetings, including room prep, product displays, materials, and refreshments, and reset afterward.
  • Manage the appointment booking flow and keep the calendar organized.
  • Coordinate the fly-in schedule for sales reps visiting the space.
  • Help with follow-up logistics for account-based programs.
  • Receive and manage swag and product inventory.
  • Coordinate with build-out, design, and fabrication partners on phased updates to the space.
  • Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for day-to-day vendor and facilities questions.
