About The Position

The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for growing the Simpro brand and generating sales leads through developing and executing a highly effective field marketing strategy. This role involves building and executing a comprehensive advertising strategy with industry association partners, publications and media outlets, contributing to and implementing the overall marketing strategy, and managing the event and advertising budget. The coordinator will plan and execute marketing events and initiatives to build the Simpro brand and create a healthy pipeline of sales, managing all aspects of event coordination from strategy to logistics. They will ensure events align with omnichannel campaigns and optimize results for awareness, enquiries, and revenue. Additionally, the role involves coordinating campaign planning and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders, identifying effective marketing channels and value propositions for different personas and key accounts, and ensuring consistent messaging across field marketing materials. Researching audience segments to build integrated multi-channel campaigns for customer/partner acquisition and retention, including events, webinars, email, and social media efforts, is also a key part of the role. Collaboration with other teams on campaign concepts, messaging, content, creative, promotion, and optimization is essential, as is close collaboration with Sales leaders to understand business objectives and develop campaign plans. The coordinator will also work with the Product Marketing Team to deliver campaigns for new product releases. Building and maintaining relationships with industry associations, media, event suppliers, publications, partners, and community organizations is crucial, as is seeking new partnership opportunities. Overseeing Simpro’s presence at relevant industry events, including speaking and sponsorship opportunities, and defining, tracking, and reporting on metrics for continuous improvement are also key responsibilities. The role requires forecasting, evaluating, and reporting on campaign effectiveness and ROI, and sharing key learnings and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in field marketing and/or events experience in B2B SaaS, software or technology companies.
  • An orchestrator and collaborator while being both tactical and strategic.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and reporting tools to drive informed decision-making, including the ability to analyze, interpret, and act upon data insights effectively, is a critical requirement for this role.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess program and event data and performance, manage budgets, review and optimize strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across sales, marketing and external vendors and associates.
  • Experience and ability to work independently while progressing multiple priorities forward simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce.com, Asana and Looker
  • Ability to travel to US and Canada based trade shows, events and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, budget, objectives, messaging, contract negotiations, vendor relations, site selection, agenda planning, logistics and merchandise.
  • Ensure all events are aligned with omnichannel campaigns and optimize results in terms of awareness, enquiries, and revenue.
  • Coordinate campaign planning and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders, ensuring effective and efficient two-way communication between the marketing and sales teams.
  • Identify the most effective marketing channels, value proposition and calls to action for personas and key accounts in the regions.
  • Ensure messaging and positioning is consistent with overall marketing strategy in field marketing materials and communication.
  • Research and understand different audience segments to build integrated multi-channel campaigns to support customer/partner acquisition and retention. This includes organizing relevant events, webinars, email and social media efforts.
  • Partner with other teams on campaign concept, messaging, content, creative, promotion and optimisation to ensure effectiveness of events and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales leaders to understand business objectives and develop in-person and product-focused campaign plans.
  • Work with the Product Marketing Team to deliver campaigns around new product releases for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, media, event suppliers, publications, partners and community organizations that help meet business outcomes.
  • Seek new partnership opportunities that align with brand and business goals.
  • Oversee Simpro’s presence at relevant industry events including speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Define, track and report on metrics, and utilizing this to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Forecast, evaluate, and report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) as well as sharing of key learnings and outcomes.
