About The Position

University Behavioral Associates (UBA) at Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a passionate, mission‑driven Licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our Family Treatment & Rehabilitation (FTR) program — a vital, community‑based initiative funded by NYC Administration for Children’s Services (ACS). This is an opportunity to lead a team making a direct impact on child safety, family stability, and long‑term well‑being. Your clinical expertise and leadership will help ensure families receive thoughtful, coordinated, and effective support. The FTR model is a collaborative, family‑centered approach designed to support parents and children through complex challenges.

Requirements

A master’s required, doctoral degree preferred (Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling)
Active NYS License required (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC; licensed or limited permit Psychologists)
Experience working with families and/or child welfare systems
Strong clinical assessment skills (mental health, substance use, family functioning)
Excellent organizational and managerial abilities
A collaborative, strengths‑based mindset

Nice To Haves

Spanish proficiency is a plus

Responsibilities

Facilitate and/or participate in clinical meetings with staff, families, and/or ACS
Facilitate family meetings, assess clinical needs, and make referral recommendations
Direct supervision of staff; consultation to staff and colleagues as needed; development and delivery of trainings (mental health, substance use, and related topics)
Oversee referrals, assign cases, and ensure timely completion of clinical documentation
Work closely with ACS, community providers, and internal teams to coordinate care
Monitor key deliverables, charting requirements, and program quality indicators
