About The Position

Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities: · Responsible for the operation and efficiency of the installation department Responsible for supervising, training and development of installers Performs job walks, pre-inspections and inspections Utilize various forms of communication (phone, emails, text) in order to accomplish the position objective Responsible for the oversight of installation (acceptable quality, within budget and within schedule) Identifies and implements solutions to make the department more efficient Creates a customer centric mindset in the department Verifies installations are performed to code and the manufacturers guidelines Creates installation and warranty KPI’s and monitors those KPI’s for constant improvement Provide telephone support for customers, contractors and installers Act as a liaison between the company and manufactures Review details of the order with the appropriate sales representative prior to any field work Review the details of the order with the customer at all jobwalks and clearly in writing define “Work By Others” Review all approved submittals Extensive involvement in the hiring process, performance reviews and disciplinary actions of installers Create a Safety Mindset within the department for both on the job as well as driving Successful installations are the result of Planning, Planning, Planning All communications with customers and suppliers documented in writing

  • Must have enough leg and foot control to climb into vehicle, operate foot controls and safely navigate vehicle through traffic and weather
  • Must able to bend, stoop, crawl and squat in order to perform a vehicle inspection
  • Move two or more limbs together while remaining in place
  • React quickly using hands, fingers and feet
  • Determine the distance between objects; see objects in low light and while moving forward see objects off to the side
