The Field Equipment Technician is responsible for completing repairs and maintenance at assigned stores and identifies further recommended actions. This role involves performing various repair, installation, replacement, and maintenance tasks, including carpentry, minor plumbing, painting, drywall, tiling, and counter/cabinet work. The technician will ensure repairs are completed within specified timeframes for approximately 10 to 15 primary assigned stores, with potential for broader coverage based on business needs. Regular scheduled visits to assigned stores are required to maintain equipment cleanliness and operational condition, including monthly beverage equipment maintenance and semi-annual HVAC and refrigeration preventative maintenance. The role also includes planning efficient daily routes, preparing stores for remodels and projects, supporting Public Relations during opening celebrations, and maintaining the asset tagging system. Accurate and timely reporting of paperwork, electronic communication, invoicing, and payroll documents is essential. The technician will also identify and report when internal or external service providers are not meeting company standards and perform other duties as requested.
