Field Maintenance Technician

MannaTulsa, OK
Onsite

About The Position

Manna is changing how the world receives things by taking delivery to the skies. Our mission is to make high-speed delivery affordable, green, and safe. We design and build our own aviation-grade drones that deliver food, coffee, groceries, and more directly from local stores and vendors to people’s doors in just a few minutes. As we expand our operations in the United States, we’re looking for a hands-on Field Maintenance Technician to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As a Field Maintenance Technician, A&P qualified, you’ll own aircraft inspections, diagnostics, and both routine and non-routine maintenance across our fleet. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, repair or replace components, and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with Manna’s technical standards, maintenance procedures, and applicable U.S. aviation requirements. You’ll test, evaluate, and resolve issues before they impact operations — maintaining the highest levels of reliability, safety, and performance. You are the first line of technical support on-site. When issues arise, you step in, diagnose quickly, and help get us back flying safely. A current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate is required for this role.

  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical ability.
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Clear communicator who stands by decisions, takes ownership, and escalates issues appropriately.
  • Confident working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when documenting maintenance activity and safety-critical work.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally or regionally when required.
  • Flexible and adaptable — operations don’t stand still.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with unmanned aircraft systems, drones, robotics, electric aircraft, or advanced aviation systems.
  • Experience with avionics, propulsion systems, batteries, wiring, sensors, telemetry, or communications systems.
  • Experience in a high-tempo aviation, manufacturing, MRO, field operations, or technology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing on-site maintenance and technical support for Manna’s Tulsa operations.
  • Acting as first-line technical support during live operations.
  • Performing inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and servicing on Manna drones and support systems.
  • Carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance in accordance with approved procedures, technical instructions, and safety standards.
  • Diagnosing faults and determining effective, safe, and compliant solutions.
  • Repairing or replacing aircraft components, assemblies, and support equipment as required.
  • Managing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and system testing.
  • Supporting operational readiness by ensuring aircraft and related systems are safe, serviceable, and available for flight.
  • Transporting aircraft, equipment, parts, or tools between Manna sites, vendors, or operational locations when required.
  • Producing clear and detailed service, inspection, and maintenance reports.
  • Documenting maintenance activity, processes, findings, and protocols clearly and accurately.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Flight Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and other technical teams.
  • Sharing technical information across the organization to support reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Making recommendations and briefing teams on repairs, diagnostics, specifications, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized maintenance environment, including tools, equipment, and parts.
