The Field Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing repairs and maintenance at assigned stores and identifies further recommended actions. This role involves performing specific store repairs, installation, replacement, and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, minor plumbing, interior and exterior painting, drywall, tiling, light bulb replacement, and counter and cabinet work. The technician will ensure repairs are completed within a specified time based on priority codes for approximately 10 to 15 primary assigned stores, and potentially more when special business needs dictate. The role also includes scheduled visits to assigned areas to keep equipment clean and in good operating condition, including monthly beverage equipment maintenance and semi-annual HVAC and refrigeration preventative maintenance. Planning efficient and cost-effective daily routes is essential. The technician will prepare stores for remodels, openings, and project work, support Public Relations during opening celebrations, and maintain the integrity of the asset tagging system. Reporting and maintaining necessary paperwork and electronic communication, including invoicing and payroll documents, is also a key responsibility. The technician will notify the Lead Technician when company standards are not being met by internal or external service providers and perform other duties as requested by the Lead Technician.
