About The Position

Waterway Carwash is currently hiring a Field Maintenance Technician to support our six (soon to be seven) locations throughout the greater Denver area. This is a hands-on role that involves maintaining all aspects of our high-end car wash and retail facilities, from mechanical and electrical systems to IT infrastructure and facility appearance. At Waterway, we take pride in our collaborative team culture. While this role is physical and hands-on, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail are key to success. We're seeking a technician with a well-rounded skill set - electrical understanding and experience is a must, and familiarity with plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field OR minimum of 2 years of maintenance-related experience
  • Electrical experience or certification (residential, commercial, automotive) is strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Availability to work a full-time schedule that will consist of 9-hour-shifts/45-hour weeks, which will include weekends and holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
  • Able to meet professional appearance standards (e.g., large tattoos covered, neatly groomed facial hair)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain building interiors and exteriors, including landscaping
  • Install, operate, inspect, and repair car wash equipment
  • Diagnose, prioritize, and resolve technical issues in the carwash tunnel
  • Work efficiently and systematically to complete scheduled tasks
  • Support IT systems including computers, routers, and POS systems
  • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to store managers and other team members
