About The Position

Tri Star Energy is currently seeking an experienced and qualified Field Maintenance Technician II – Refrigeration to join our innovative Facilities Services team in our Store Support Center in Nashville, TN. The Field Maintenance Tech II is responsible for performing required maintenance at company stores and facilities in a professional and timely manner. Performs repairs and maintains one or more of the following specialties: HVAC/R, General Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, and/or Beverage. Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance operations, including Beverage Machine systems and equipment
  • Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with C-Store and/or retail facilities.
  • EPA Certification Type 1 or Type 2 required; Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and repairs all refrigeration equipment.
  • Visually inspects and tests machines, systems, and equipment.
  • Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and repair equipment.
  • Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
  • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts and motors and adjusts as needed.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.
  • Replaces and/or repairs machine belts.
  • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
  • Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment, including painting, plumbing, and general building upkeep.
  • Performs all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations.
  • Follows safe work habits and cleans up area after completing maintenance and/or repairs.
  • Issues reports and summaries, as required.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information.
  • Reacts productively to change.
