Field Maintenance Technician 1
About The Position
Perform exemplary maintenance services on equipment to ensure owning and operating costs exceed customer standards. Use Holt Cat’s digital tools to capture and report issues as it pertains to the operation and performance of the equipment to maximize up time. Lastly, the incumbent must successfully work with Holt’s central dispatch team for logistics and communicate directly with customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline. This is an entry level position which generally has less than one year of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; works under immediate supervision. Will provide superior customer service to internal and external customers in alignment with Holt CAT’s Vision, Values and Mission statement. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Up to one year of experience with field or shop preventive maintenance preferred
- Valid drivers' license with safe driving record required
- Must be able obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of employment

- Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures and practices
Responsibilities

- Performs high quality preventative field maintenance work and electronic inspections on equipment
- Effectively maintains and communicates a field service schedule to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Desires to challenge self with an abundance mindset to achieve highest levels of performance and quality
- Adaptable and understanding of changes to schedules and timelines
- Accurately obtains, packages, and submits required compartment fluid samples daily
- Maintains appearance and operation of service truck to ensure productivity and professional representation to Holt customers
- Work Order Efficiency- 5% or higher for reviewed time period
- Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
- Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
