Tech 1 Field Maintenance ULT
About The Position
The Field Maintenance Tech I is responsible for performing minor preventative maintenance on machinery to support efficient operations. This role also assists with the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and shop equipment. The technician will install lights, shelving, workstations, and other facility-related items as needed. A key responsibility includes maintaining accurate forklift logs and supporting safe equipment operation, which may involve obtaining forklift certification and operating equipment safely. The role also entails moving furniture, equipment, and materials across the facility, ensuring work areas and shop floors are clean and organized, and adhering to all documentation, HSSE policies, and quality standards. Additional maintenance tasks and special projects may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Demonstrate accountability in completing assigned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain awareness of workplace safety practices and proper equipment handling.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and company policies with attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform hands-on, physical tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities
