This traveling role supports customers across the U.S. and is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who thrive on solving problems, traveling, and being the expert customers rely on. The position involves hands-on work, travel, and direct customer interaction.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a traveling technician
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool experience
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform Plate Check™ and tubular heat exchanger inspections
• Execute repairs, troubleshooting, and installation supervision
• Conduct on-site customer training
• Travel >15 days/month (including some weekends)
• Maintain detailed plant folders, documentation, and follow-up communication
• Collaborate with AGC Sales Engineers on upcoming service needs
• Submit accurate service reports within 48 hours
• Mentor new technicians as needed
