About The Position

The Field Lube Technician is responsible for supporting field operations by fueling, servicing, and performing preventive maintenance on heavy machinery. This role requires an organized, safety-conscious individual who works closely with operators, supervisors, and the maintenance team to minimize downtime and keep equipment running efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including lubrication services.
Knowledge of oils, greases, fluids, and basic preventive care for equipment
Competent in reading service manuals, maintenance logs, and work orders
Must provide and maintain personal tools and field equipment
Capable of lifting 50–70 lbs and working in a variety of conditions, including outdoors and under vehicles.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment
Required to have a reliable form of transportation to and from work

Responsibilities

Fuel and service equipment following fueling and spill prevention protocols
Performs routine preventive maintenance, including greasing and checking fluid levels
Conducts daily inspections to identify and report leaks, wear, or safety concerns
Completes minor repairs (e.g., replacing filters, fixing lights, repairing hoses, tightening components) and escalates major issues to mechanics
Adhere to all safety standards, including proper PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and maintaining a clean work environment

Lead by example and encourage accountability both up and down the chain of command
