General Summary: The XY Trimble Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all Trimble surveying equipment. Laying out of points and elevations with GPS and line of sight Trimble equipment on job sites for installation of electrical conduit and equipment including panels, light fixtures, manholes, building corners and walls, etc.

Requirements

• License: Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company.
• Certification: None required.
• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience using surveying equipment.
• Ability to work out of town for multiple nights each week.

Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of onsite project conditions and existing surveys in place.
• Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other points on jobsites.
• Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements.
• Adjust and maintain surveying instruments in order to maintain their accuracy.
• Establish fixed points on projects to be used for layouts.
• Train other Trimble equipment user throughout the company for remote projects.
• Develop existing surveying process and procedures.
• Support company Safety & Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
