About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Field IT Support professional to join our team in Norman, United States. In this role, you will provide comprehensive technical support to our end-users across multiple locations, troubleshooting hardware and software issues while maintaining a high level of customer service. You will be responsible for diagnosing problems, implementing solutions, and ensuring minimal downtime for our organization's operations.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or field service roles
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze technical problems systematically
Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems
Knowledge of network connectivity, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN technologies
Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to field location

Nice To Haves

CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent IT certification
Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms
Familiarity with remote access and support tools
Experience with IT asset management and inventory systems
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
Diagnose and troubleshoot computer systems, peripherals, and network connectivity problems using analytical and systematic approaches
Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Document all support tickets accurately and completely, tracking issue resolution and maintaining organized records for future reference
Perform preventative maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance and security
Assist with user onboarding by setting up new equipment and providing technical orientation
Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
Travel to various field locations as needed to provide on-site technical support
Maintain organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies
Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users, ensuring they understand solutions and preventative measures
