Field Inventory Auditor
About The Position
The Field Inventory Auditor will assist a team audit leader in accurately counting and recording inventory within various locations. This role involves daily travel in a company-provided vehicle to different locations to perform scheduled inventory counts. The auditor will scan and count items, including those in cooler and freezer areas, and download scanner data to provide accurate inventory totals. Additionally, the auditor will notify store managers of incorrect prices, remove out-of-code merchandise, and perform various surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures. The position requires working safely, independently with little supervision, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment, contributing to team efforts.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Must have High school diploma or GED.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assisting a team audit leader to accurately count and record inventory within each location.
- Daily travel in a company provided vehicle, to different locations to perform inventory counts as scheduled.
- Scan and count most items throughout the entire store, including Cooler & Freezer areas.
- Download scanner to store computer to give an accurate inventory total for that location.
- Notifies store manager of wrong prices and pulls out-of-code merchandise.
- Performs various surveys to verify compliance with operational and financial procedures.
- Works in safe manner by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Able to work independently with little supervision.
- Performs and multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
