About The Position

The Field Inventory Associate will compile, review, and maintain data from purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory-related documents. This role involves receiving, counting, and storing stock items in an orderly and accessible manner, as well as packing and unpacking items as needed. The associate will verify inventory accuracy through physical counts and cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies in the ERP system. They will prepare and maintain records of inventories, shipments, shortages, and damaged or defective items, and coordinate with personnel regarding stock levels, procurement, and consignment agreements. Additionally, the role requires issuing or distributing materials, supplies, and products based on requisitions and inventory availability, ensuring compliance with quality initiatives and shelf-life tracking. The associate will support branch and sales teams by optimizing inventory utilization and assisting with long-term projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Inventory Control experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Associates degree
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Access, SAP, ERP systems (including data analysis tools i.e. queries, pivot tables, etc.)
