About The Position

Fusion Solutions is looking for Ericsson Field Techs for Anchor 5G project in Houston, TX and Austin, TX markets. This is a long-term project starting in August 2021. The role involves performing BBU6630 swaps, carrier adds, troubleshooting, SRS call testing, and SAU testing on Telecommunication's Anchor 5G network. Responsibilities include commissioning, integration, call testing, and troubleshooting for Ericsson equipment, as well as installation and integration of IXRE TMO. Experience with Ericsson equipment like 6630, 6648, GSM re-configuration, cabinet re-configuration (including moving batteries), and familiarity with 6102-6160 cabinets, DUW/DUG are essential. The role also includes commissioning and integration of Baseband (BB5216) LTE carrier add, DUL/DUS carrier swap, troubleshooting various alarms and equipment, performing site walks, construction monitoring, and quality audits. Experience with FTP tools, IP/TCP config, EAMS, MOP documents, COP procedures, and cable termination is required. Editing MS Excel for TRW tracking and reporting is also part of the duties.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years direct experience in the field.
Ericsson Field Commissioning and integration on Telecommunication’s Anchor 5G network.
Ericsson equipment 6630, 6648 commissioning.
GSM re-config.
Call testing.
Cabinet re-configuration to include moving batteries.
Familiar with 6102 – 6160 cabinets.
DUW/DUG Experience.
Perform Commissioning and Integration of Baseband (BB5216) LTE carrier add, DUL/DUS carrier swap for Telecommunication IXR-E Integration.
Troubleshoot alarms BB5216, XMU, DUL/DUS, RU/RRU, DUW, DUG, RBS6601, RBS6201, SAR 7705, GPS PSAP call test, 1C, 2C, 3C, 4C, 5C, 6C, 7C, OEM testing pre and post.
FTP tools, IP/TCP config, EAMS, MOP documents, COP procedures cables dressing, labeling, terminating power, ground, RJ45, and punch down.
Edit MS Excel for TRW tracking and reporting.
Perform Site walks, Site Construction monitoring, Quality Audits of Telecommunication Rural America GSM/LTE sites.
External Alarm testing/simulation, Site troubleshooting, Reconfiguration, Alarm monitoring using Remote Access.
