About The Position

WF Steel & Crane Ltd is a leading fabricator of structural steel and overhead cranes, situated in the Nisku Industrial Park, south of Edmonton, Alberta. With over 30 years of experience, our reputation for safety, quality, service, and innovation is well-established, and we take pride in being a privately owned Canadian enterprise. We are currently seeking a Crane Installer to join our Overhead Crane Installation team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage, overtime, and benefits. While based in Nisku, the position requires travel and work throughout Alberta and Western Canada.

Requirements

Certified Journeyman/Journeywoman Iron Worker or Welder
Experience in erecting steel structures or overhead cranes
Proficient in blueprint interpretation
Comfortable with working at heights
Skilled in using cut-off saws, cutting torches, flux core, and stick welding machines
Rigging experience
Competent in the safe operation of mobile equipment such as man-lifts and forklifts
Willingness to travel and work out of town for extended periods
Exceptional communication skills
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Dependability and punctuality
Open to working overtime
Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
Clean driving record
Commitment to maintaining safety standards
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
