Job Description Summary Position Objective: This is an entry-level position reporting to a Field Supervisor. The Field Installer is responsible for the timely installation of TENTS and other TEMPORARY STRUCTURES and the safe operation of related equipment. This role is physically demanding, requiring significant strength and stamina to lift heavy equipment. Responsibilities include the installation, takedown, and repair of fabric structures, as well as loading and unloading supply trucks.

Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a pre employment Background Check, Drug Test and a Motor Vehicle Check (Safe Driving Record)
  • Experienced with Hand & Power Tools, building and installing experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and basic math skills.
  • This position is based out of the Houston depot branch. While the installer will be home most nights, candidates must be open to occasional travel within Texas for short durations (2–3 days) as project needs arise.
  • Tenting 101 – The Basics of Temporary Structures (In-house)
  • General Construction Site Safety – OSHA Basic Plus
  • Federal Background Check – TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • OSHA Operators Training for All-Terrain forklifts and aerial platforms

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, delivery, and pickup of rental equipment.
  • Assemble and disassemble fabric structures according to manufacturer and safety procedures.
  • Unload and transport equipment, materials, and supplies around the jobsite.
  • Safely operate forklifts, all-terrain scissor lifts, and man-baskets for structure construction.
  • Ensure the proper installation, layout, and functionality of structures per agreements and CAD diagrams.
  • Maintain, repair, and build fabric/hard-side walls, doors, and framework.
  • Coordinate with the Field Supervisor on jobsite layout and debris cleanup.
  • Inspect equipment for damage and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Adhere to all company, local, and federal safety regulations (OSHA).
