Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Installation Support Technician to join our team! In this role, you will provide hands-on support to field teams installing and preparing sites for air traffic control systems and infrastructure at FAA facilities throughout the National Airspace System. Working under the direction of a Field Installation Manager, crew lead, or senior technician, you will assist electricians, electronics technicians, installers, engineers, and other field personnel with general site preparation, material handling, equipment installation support, facility restoration, and project closeout activities. T5 Program Summary: The Federal Aviation Administration awarded the Technical Support Services Contract 5, T5, to Parsons in April 2023. Parsons is the prime contractor. This $1.8+ billion contract has a 4-year base period with two 3-year options. The statement of work includes a variety of activities supporting the FAA’s Capital Investment Plan, reimbursable programs, FAA modernization initiatives, national security programs, and aviation safety. Work includes site selection and engineering, construction, environmental and fire/life safety, equipment installation and testing, drafting, contract surveillance, and other technical services as required. Work is performed across the nation in each of the FAA’s nine regions, as well as at the Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the Technical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey, and several U.S. territories. An average staff of approximately 500, with a peak staff of more than 650, supports this contract in addition to subcontractors performing construction and specialty work.
