About The Position

At Lifeway Mobility, we install and repair accessibility solutions such as wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts, helping individuals regain their freedom and independence. This is a hands-on career where you can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The role involves picking up and loading the company vehicle, installing and repairing accessibility products, explaining projects to customers, entering work order and inventory data, and receiving paid manufacturer training. Jobs may range from a few hours to a few days, with no overnight travel required. Occasional Saturday overtime is available. This position offers steady, year-round work with no seasonal slowdowns, career growth opportunities, and paid training.

Requirements

Experience using hand and power tools
Basic computer skills for work orders and inventory
Strong customer service and communication skills
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle to job sites
Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work overhead for short periods
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors year-round
Able to climb ladders, crouch, and occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights

Responsibilities

Pick up and load the company vehicle at our location each morning
Install and repair accessibility products, including wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, and ceiling lifts
Explain the project to the customer and answer any questions they may have
Enter work order and inventory data into our system (basic computer skills required)
Receive paid manufacturer training and hands-on learning to develop your skills
Work independently or as part of a two-person team
