If you know the area and want flexible paid work that fits around your own schedule, this is an easy way to put your driving time to use. The work is simple. You go to a property, take a few photos, note whether it looks occupied or vacant, and file a short report from your phone. Most visits take ten to twenty minutes, and across New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, Chalmette, and the surrounding parishes you take the orders closest to you rather than driving all over the metro. You're paid for every completed inspection, by direct deposit. As a 1099 independent contractor you set your own hours and decide how much you take on, so this fits easily around whatever else fills your week. You'll need a reliable vehicle, a valid license, and a smartphone, plus the dependability to meet deadlines and follow client instructions, including knocking to confirm occupancy when a job calls for it.
