About The Position

The ideal Construction Inspector needs to be able to perform the following duties on a daily basis in the field: High familiarity and/or experienced in reading prints and diagrams utilizing station #'s and lat/long identifiers. Strong familiarity with Right of Ways and/or Utility easements Strong competent and/or experienced with laptops, spreadsheets, cell phones, GIS maps or other electronic tools in an outside environment. Experienced in underground utility design, oversight, or inspection. Have you ever encountered interaction with irate sub-contractors, general contractors, clients and/or Joe Q public, if so how did you negotiate and/or defuse the situation.

Requirements

High familiarity and/or experience in reading prints and diagrams utilizing station #'s and lat/long identifiers.
Strong familiarity with Right of Ways and/or Utility easements.
Strong competence and/or experience with laptops, spreadsheets, cell phones, GIS maps or other electronic tools in an outside environment.
Experience in underground utility design, oversight, or inspection.
Experience interacting with sub-contractors, general contractors, clients and/or the public, and ability to negotiate and/or defuse situations.
